Waiting List Status

Thank you for signing up to be part of the Connected Devices community.

Now that you’ve signed up, you have automatically been added to our waiting list. You should also have received a waiting list confirmation email from us (with a title like: “Welcome to the program – Update on your sign-up status”).

For a reminder of the steps in the process of becoming a volunteer, see Becoming a Volunteer. You are currently in Stage 2 – On the waiting list.

Checking Your Status

You can see your sign-up status by logging into your account using the email address and password you created when you signed up (if you can’t remember your login details, see Logging In). You’ll be in one of the following statuses:

  1. Sign up to be a volunteer.

  2. On the waiting list.

  3. Your profile is selected.

  4. Your Whitebox is on its way.

If you change your broadband supplier or package while on the waiting list, please update your details in your account accordingly. You are assessed for eligibility for a Whitebox largely based on your broadband package, so we need to know if this has changed, as it could change your eligibility. For more information on how volunteers are assessed, see How Volunteers Are Selected.

Removing Yourself from the Waiting List

Our team is working hard to get Whiteboxes to everybody we can.

But not everyone who registers their interest for a Whitebox will be selected to receive one, as explained in How Volunteers Are Selected.

If you have not been selected yet, please bear with us.

If you would prefer us to remove you from our waiting list, email us at [email protected], stating your preference. Be sure to include the email address you used to sign up.
