Introducing Neutral UI
We’ve improved our user interface to better follow one of our design principles—make the data pop. In the Neutral UI we have extracted as much colour as possible to help you to focus on what really matters.

New look Instant Test
The Instant Test feature in your dashboard now has a fresh new design. The test results are now bigger, clearer, and reorganised, to help you test and understand your connection more easily.

Clearer Disconnected Status
Your dashboard now makes it easier to understand when your Whitebox is disconnected.
A new banner appears at the top of the page when the Whitebox is disconnected, showing how long it’s been that way.
The speed, latency, and loss charts now clearly show gaps on days which have no performance measurements.
The disconnections chart now better displays when the Whitebox has been disconnected for longer than the time period you’re viewing.

Disconnections Chart Is Now More Detailed
The disconnections chart on your dashboard is now able to show sub 10-second disconnections. This change is retroactive, so any disconnections under 10 seconds in length should now also be showing in the week and month view.

Your New Disconnections Chart
We’ve recently updated the disconnections chart on your dashboard to be more intuitive, glanceable and reliable:
A refreshed design makes it much easier to see if and when home connection has issues.
Daily totals summarise the number of disconnections as well as the downtime.
A new disconnections measurement fuses data from two different sources, which means that ongoing disconnections can now be displayed, and agent reboots will no longer miss an event.

Updates to Dashboard
Speed statistics are now under Core tests. Instant tests are easier to find and run. We added a Disconnections widget so that you can spot outages. Skipped tests show tests that didn’t run for any reason. Plus, we’ve added a whole new section for RealSpeed tests. There’s also a new feature to compare your device speed with our database of known limits, this helps you identify where a fault might be caused by a device (mobile, laptop, tablet) hitting its own limit.
Another reason we’ve updated the dashboard is to unify the data you see and the data your ISP sees. We believe that if both the consumer and ISP are looking at the same data, troubleshooting faults will become easier for everyone.
